This Will Smith quote floated down my instagram feed one day and gave me so much life. I knew I had to share it.
This quote basically says a lot about what I've been going through in the last few months. Learning to let go of people who aren't doing anything for your life in any way. It's not easy, if it was this quote wouldn't exist because it wouldn't be necessary. The fact of the matter is, people are not easy to let go of. Sure, we all know people who don't have a problem cutting someone off and not looking back, however for me: it's not that simple.
Even though it can be hard, it really sucks and sometimes you simply don't want to, that doesn't mean you shouldn't.
The people you keep in your life should live up to the standards you hold yourself to. If your standards for yourself aren't where they should be then raise the bar! You're worth so much more than you think. If you don't believe worth anything, get out and make yourself worth something. You control your life and it's outcome. You control your outlook. No, you can't control how others see you, you can't control how others treat you based on what they see. All you can control is you.
I want to leave you with this: Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth. Believe in yourself and you won't need anyone else to do so for you. Drop the losers and move on with your life. There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. Always remember that.
